Project Overview

Blanc Events is a luxury event & wedding planning company delivering bespoke weddings, Walimas, corporate galas, baby showers, and cultural celebrations across Glasgow and Edinburgh. Known for creating exceptional in-person experiences, the business had built a strong reputation through referrals and the quality of its work. However, its digital presence wasn't reflecting that same standard. Content was being captured inconsistently, short-form video remained underutilized, and valuable moments from live events were often lost before they could be transformed into marketing assets. What began as a three-month engagement to refresh the Blanc Events brand, introduce a scalable content strategy, and strengthen its presence across Instagram and TikTok quickly evolved into a long-term partnership. Following strong early performance, the project was extended to a full year, allowing us to build a repeatable content system that worked alongside the realities of live event delivery rather than disrupting them. The engagement focused on more than increasing content output. By refining the brand identity, implementing a structured content workflow, and leveraging authentic event footage, Blanc Events established a stronger digital presence, expanded its visibility across Scotland, and generated more than 315,000 social media impressions in a single month. This demonstrated how a strategic content system can turn completed projects into sustained brand growth.

02
The Challenges
01

Inconsistent visibility

Organic channels lacked the consistent short-form video momentum needed to capture high-intent leads.

02

An underused platform

TikTok had clear viral potential but no structured system to match Instagram's authority.

03

A hidden proof-of-work gap.

The craft and precision behind each event weren't being captured or shown to prospective clients.

04

An audience that didn't match the buyer.

The account's audience was split evenly between men and women, while luxury wedding and gala buyers skew heavily female.

How We Solved It

Brand Identity

  • Updated the logo colorway from black to white as part of a wider key-visual refresh
  • Refreshed the social feed layout to present the new identity consistently
02

Content & Distribution

  • Produced high-definition event-transformation videos and behind-the-scenes "standard" content
  • Built a content calendar to keep publishing steady through busy event periods
  • Repurposed top Instagram Reels to TikTok, driving a +1,489.71% increase in TikTok impressions
03

Local Visibility & Authority

  • Built hyper-local hashtag clusters (#glasgowwedding, #eventmanagementscotland, #scotland)
  • Formed strategic partnerships (Urban Car Rental, Universal Promotions) and featured industry veteran Shandy as event host
04
Creative Execution

Every deliverable, from the brand refresh to the video content, was built around the events Blanc Events was already running, not created separately for the sake of content.

FAQs

What kind of work did this project involve for Blanc Events?

The project combined a brand identity refresh (including a logo and key-visual update) along with a content system built around short-form video, behind-the-scenes footage, and localized hashtag targeting across Glasgow and Edinburgh. The goal was a digital presence that matched the quality of Blanc Events' actual event work.

How long did the campaign run?

What began as a three-month trial was extended to a full year based on results, with a four-month performance review (April–July 2026) confirming over 1 million impressions and sustained audience growth across Instagram and TikTok.

What results did Blanc Events see?

Over the four-month review period, the account reached 1.07M+ impressions, 15,753 total interactions, and grew its combined audience to 7,586 followers. The account's audience also shifted from an even gender split to 58% female, which aligned with the demographic that actually books luxury weddings and galas.

Why did the brand refresh matter for a wedding and events business?

A luxury wedding planner's visual identity signals who the brand is for before a single piece of content does. Updating the logo and key visuals shifted who the account reached, moving the audience closer to the people actually planning weddings, galas, and milestone celebrations in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Does this approach work for other luxury or event-based businesses?

Yes, the same system (brand alignment, consistent short-form video, and hyper-local targeting) applies to any service business where trust and visual presentation drive bookings, including wedding planners, venues, caterers, and luxury event vendors across Scotland and the UK.
